And yes I am excited. I am scheduled to go to the hospital on Monday March 3rd at 5:30 am. Glenn has decided to stick around till then and not go back out to work. Although it is not in our favor that I will go into labor prior to this date I've convinced Glenn to stay out of the sky. I want him here and he admitted that he would feel awful IF I went into labor and he missed it. So we're playing it safe... which we all know means I will not go into labor on my own and it will be Pitocin city for me.
No changes, still 3 centimeters...

Hey you are still around! If we don't hear anything, I think we all are assuming you are in the hospital! Glad you are scheduled and hope you get the delivery you want - even though we are all ready to meet Baby Sharp #2 there is something to be said about being induced. No hurry, and you are set to get your epi and catheter, fun times! Keep us updated and can't wait to hear the news!
P.S. 5:30 AM is EARLY!
I thought you might have been in the hospital. You have to notify all of us blog readers somehow. Have Laura email me .. I'll be dying to know! So, you'll be 39 weeks next monday correct? That's so neat you can know your baby's birthday ahead of time. Now you can really plan your week accordingly! Keep us posted if dilation increases!! Maybe your water will just spontaneously break?! Hang in there!!!
I am still here girls. Good thing, some of Ryleigh's big girl furniture arrives tomorrow (thank goodness). I get to finally transistion Ryleigh out of the baby's room (clothes and such) into her new room. Added bonus, the box of clothes I have for baby can finally be put in drawers. Oh and I am finally going to start the taxes!!! FUN FUN!!! Here's hoping I make it to Monday (which I should because I will only be 39 weeks... my actual due date is March 11th). And as a last note... Glenn and I have a couple of names. Took us awhile but I think out child won't be 'that kid' (yes we considered that as an option).
Oh, and with Ryleigh I went into the hospital to be induced at 9 pm. Made for a long night (I laid there awake...thinking and then pushed starting before 5 am). I am actually glad we're going in at 5:30 am... I've been waking up around 4:30/5:00 most mornings unable to go back to sleep. I am living on about 5 hours of sleep (and waking up every hour during those 5 hours...). I will email you all next Wednesday (upon our return from the hospital with the stats). I am not leaving Glenn in charge again (to notify) since last time he said Ryleigh was 10 inches long...she was 19!
That is comical about Glenn saying Ry was 10 in. Men!? Sometimes I wonder about them.
I wish you the best! I was induced with the 1st and 3rd. When I was going through it the 2nd time I knew what to expect with the whole process so I think it went better. Stay positive. The outcome is always worth whatever you go through. Taylor was my worst experience EVER! I had nothing(meds of any kind) and she was posterior. I thought I would die, but you know, I would do it all over again! She is my joy!
I have a friend who just had a posterior birth and to top it off it was a dry birth (no amnio fluid...). Needless to say it's her last. My birth experience with Ry was rough (lots of vomit b/c that is how I react to drugs) and pushing... the kid's head was HUGE. They used forceps. I am hoping we won't go that route this time and that by having the baby early I won't need them and I won't be pushing for hours. I plan on using drugs (need to with the rate my doc administers Pitocin). Only 5 more days being a family of 3... I must admit I will miss this time but I am looking forward to expanding our family.
Oh my goodness! You're so close!!!
I'm still far far away from having our baby (nine weeks or so) but I'm already freaking out!
I can't wait for pics and CORRECT stats! And of course, will it be a boy or a girl?!?!?
It's really our last chance to guess before it's official!
